OUR FAMILY 2010

I cant believe how fast this year went. Jesse is still working at Premier in Rexburg and I am still at the Apple Athletic club. Teagen started kindergarten this year and boy did i cry. Teagen and I got out of the car and i took his hand. As I looked into his sweet face I could see a million questions in his eyes. I simply said as i gave him a little push into the building that everything was going to be OK. I'm not sure how I convinced him of that when I myself did not at that point believe it. I Took him to his classroom tear free, hugged him and said I love you see you soon. As the parents were leaving Teagens teacher was handing out letters to all of us. I assumed it was just the class schedule. I walked quickly to my car and tried to avoid everyone because i did not want them to see my tears. I got in my car and pulled away. Surprisingly i was OK. I looked around and saw many moms reading the letter from Mrs. Davenport. All of them crying I wondered what would make them cry from a schedule. I just thought hmmm that's odd. When I got home I pulled out what I thought was the school schedule. I was so proud of myself for holding it together, as i began to read the words on the page I could no longer hold it together. This was not a class schedule at all. The page read THE FIRST DAY

TO TAKE MY CHILD TO CLASS
SO PLEASE PUT YOUR MIND AT EASE
AND CRY THOSE TEARS NO MORE
FOR I WILL LOVE THEM AND TAKE THEM IN
WHEN YOU LEAVE THEM AT THE DOOR.

FUN AT THE RIVER!

I have been so terrible at posting lately and i will really try to do better! We had a family bbq, it is always so nice to see family!

in order to hear what teagen is saying at the dentist you have to go to the bottom of my page and turn off the music

Teagen and I went sledding on Sunday. He really wanted to go on Saturday, but the weather did not permit. I was very suprised, because last year he was very hesitant and did not really care for it. Too fast, cold, or always had something to complain about. This time, he was so excited. He was full of energy, and we hiked up that hill too many times to count. After the first time down both of us together he was ready to take it all by himself. I was so hesitant, because I could tell he was going to slide a whole lot faster, because of the LESS DRAG with my butt in there. Oh was it so true, he took off and I tried to catch him on the other sled, but forget it, he was gone. I got really worried as there are vehicles lined at the bottom, but there was plenty of room for him to stop. I also worried he would crash and burn, and get hurt. He was tough, he did crash a couple times, but got up and shook it off. Very impressed, and suprised over last years results. We raced, and hit some jumps. He loved it. He beat me every time. I even tried to cheat, and he still passed me. I played like I was 10 years old, and now I hurt so bad.. FUN FUN. He loved it. Hope you all enjoy.

while we were in boise jd and teagen were playing. jd put his hat on normal and said when my hat is on this way im just uncle jd but when its on this way( he put it sideways) im a fighting machine, teagen laughed so hard. a few days after we were home teagen said mom when i have my hat on this way i am just teagen but when i put it on this way i am a fighting machine, i laughed so hard, he really loves his uncle jd.

JESSE TEAGEN AND I JUST GOT HOME FROM BOISE FOR CHRISTMAS.I HAVE TO SAY THAT THIS CHRISTMAS WAS ONE OF THE BEST ONES YET! WE WERE ALL REMINDED OF THE TRUE MEANING OF CHRISTMAS, IT IS BETTER TO GIVE THEN TO RECEIVE. CHRISTMAS MORNING WE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO HEAR A STORY ABOUT A FAMILY WHO DID NOT HAVE ALOT AND ABOUT HOW THEY SHARED WHAT LITTLE THEY HAD WITH A FAMILY WHO HAD ALMOST NOTHING. IT WAS SUCH A TOUCHING STORY.WE ARE ALL BLESSED TO HAVE SUCH A WONDERFUL AND LOVING FAMILY THAT SURROUND US EVERYDAY.THIS HOLIDAY SEASON WAS TRULY A BLESSING AND A REMINDER THAT THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS IN LIFE AREN'T THINGS!

Isint it intresting finding out things i thought i hated i learned to love through obedience

teagen was playing and he did something he should not have done. I have always known jesse was a good dad but the way he sat him down and explained perfectly why he should not make that choice helped teagen yo know right from wrong.I'm very proud of my little family!

Our family took a trip last month with my dad and stepmom. it was so fun.Teagen loved the ocean.It was cold but you cant go to the ocean and not get in!

 

 

what a smart boy!

teagen and i were walking out of the gym Thursday and this dodge cumin's started up The engine, teagen looked at me and said its a cumin's a dodge one and i heard it! can you tell his dad works with this kind of stuff everyday at work? i told jesse what he said and jesse said that's my boy!, I'm raising him right!

i took teagen to go get his flu shot, it was aw full! he lay ed down and said mommy will you please hold my hand, i said of course i will. it was heart breaking, he looked right into my eyes and his eyes got all glassy and he said oh mommy please don't let them, i would take a million shots for him if i could.

TEAGEN WAS PLAYING WITH HIS LIGHTNING MCQUEEN AND HE WAS USING JESSES LITTLE JACK, HE WAS LOOKING UNDER THE CAR ACTING LIKE HE KNEW EXACTLY WHAT HE WAS DOING AND HE WAS JACKING IT SO HIGH THAT I SAID HONEY IF YOU JACK THAT TOO HIGH ITS GOING TO FLIP OVER, HE LOOKED AT ME SO SERIOUSLY AND SAID WELL THAT'S A BUNCH OF CRAP! I LAUGHED SO HARD AND THOUGHT TO MYSELF I KNOW WHICH GRANDPA HE GOT THAT FROM! SO FUNNY

well teagen starts soccer this saterday, he is very very excited! i think he will do great. he is also going to start preschool next week and my bestfriend and i are going to go in and help with the music program. jesse got his new truck, and has been very busy with it. all is good

SOMETIMES THE LITTLEST THINGS IN LIFE ARE THE BEST, OUR LITTLE FAMILY JUST SANG LET US GATHER IN A CIRCLE AND PRAYED TOGETHER AND THAT WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF MY DAY! JESSE IS SUCH A GOOD DAD AND HUSBAND.

WE WENT TO BOISE THIS PAST WEEKEND, FRIDAY NIGHT WE JUST PLAYED AROUND OUTSIDE. THE KIDS SWAM AND PLAYED WITH THE DOGS, SATURDAY WE WENT TO OUR NIECES THIRD BIRTHDAY PARTY. THEY HAD PONY RIDES AND JESSE PULLED THE KIDS AROUND. THAT NIGHT OUR SISTER IN LAW BLESSED THERE BABY, WE HAD ALOT OF FUN, SOMETIMES ITS EASY TO FORGET WHAT IS IMPORTANT, JESSE AND I JUST WANT TO TELL ALL OUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY HOW MUCH WE LOVE THEM AND OUR THANK FULL FOR THERE SUPPORT. THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR SHARING OUR LITTLE FAMILIES LIVES THROUGH THE UPS AND THE DOWNS, WE LOVE YOU ALL!
